Applications now open for BA LLB

Admission Procedure

Submit the online application form available on our website along with the required documents:

  • Scanned copy of 10th and 12th mark sheets
  • Transfer Certificate (Original)
  • Passport size photograph
  • Signature
  • Category certificate (if applicable)

Application fee: ₹1000

All applicants must appear for the Shambhunath Law Entrance Test (SLET) conducted by the institute. The exam tests:

  • Legal aptitude
  • Logical reasoning
  • English comprehension
  • General knowledge

Exam date: To Be announced

Exam centers: Shambhunath Institute of Law , Near SIET, Jhalwa, Prayagraj - 211015

The entrance exam will be held as below syllabus:

  • General Engish
  • Interest in legal studies
  • General awareness
  • Personality traits

Right of Admission is reserved within SIL.

Successful candidates will receive admission offers based on:

  • Entrance exam score (70% weightage)

Selected candidates must complete the admission formalities within 5 days of receiving the offer letter by submitting:

  • Original documents for verification
  • First installment of fees
  • Medical fitness certificate

Eligibility Criteria

BA LLB (5 Years)

  • 10+2 with minimum 45% marks
  • Age limit: Below 20 years (22 years for SC/ST)
  • No stream preference

Fee Structure

  • Top 3 rankers in entrance exam: 100% tuition fee waiver
  • Rank 4-10: 50% tuition fee waiver
  • Rank 11-20: 25% tuition fee waiver

Need-Based Scholarships

  • Available for students from economically weaker sections
  • Requires family income certificate
  • Covers up to 75% of tuition fees

Special Category Scholarships

  • For SC/ST students: 50% tuition fee waiver
  • For differently-abled students: 75% tuition fee waiver
  • For children of armed forces personnel: 25% tuition fee waiver

Sports Scholarships

  • For national/state level sports persons
  • Up to 50% tuition fee waiver
  • Requires proof of participation/achievement
